Jamaica College Aviation Student Receives Naples University Scholarship

With a dream to reach higher heights, Jamaica College Aviation program student, Andre McKenzie seemingly is reaching his goal after receiving a scholarship from the Naples University in Florida. Mackenzie says his ambition is to become a recognized pilot in his country.

“This celebration is about Andre McKenzie getting a scholarship because of my hard work and determination to become the greatest pilot of all time as to where Jamaica is concerned…”

McKenzie also urged parents to allow their children to start aviation school at an early age.

Meanwhile Jamaica College Aviation Program Executive Director David Robertson lauded Mackenzie for his valiant performance. He adds that Transport Minister Robert Montague played a vital role in the development of Jamaica’s aviation program by supporting the industry tremendously.
